1. Check your birth details
The date, time, birthplace and historical time zone are the foundation of the calculation. Astrology also needs the birthplace's latitude and longitude for the ascendant and houses. Check the coordinates after selecting a city; a different city with the same name can change the chart. Do not treat an estimated birth time as confirmed information.
2. Sun, Moon and ascendant
The Sun, Moon and ascendant offer three starting points. Traditional readings associate the Sun with self-expression, the Moon with emotional habits and the ascendant with approaching the world. Select a planet in the chart to see its sign, degree and house.
3. Houses and aspects
Houses represent symbolic areas of life, and aspects show geometric relationships between planets. Starmora lists conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines and oppositions within its stated orb limits. The orb shows the distance from the exact aspect. The reading includes only placements and aspects actually calculated for the chart.
