Draw cards to reflect on your expectations and expression when meeting someone. Use the spread as a source of questions about communication, consent and mutual interest.

Calculation and interpretation method

The original deck contains 22 major and 56 minor arcana. You select cards from a shuffled deck without repeating a card within one spread. Orientation is random when reversed cards are enabled; otherwise cards are read upright. Selection serves a symbolic reflection exercise.

Express curiosity through an open question

Draw one card while considering your approach to meeting someone. Write the conversation wanted instead of using its theme to predict the other person's actions. Asking about a shared interest or clarifying a meeting expectation can be a small step. Do not force the response into the card's explanation; an unexpected answer supplies actual information too. Curiosity can be considered alongside mutual room and boundaries.

This position reflects on communication without calculating attraction, consent or another meeting. Asking a question differs from requiring a particular answer. Recording what was actually learned can be more informative than looking only for a desired sign.

The card, orientation and spread position

A card's theme, its spread position and its upright or reversed reading contribute together. Explore inward attention or a difficulty with the theme rather than treating reversal as simply a negative outcome. Cards do not repeat within one spread; a new spread makes another random selection. The Met source explains history and structure, while the original questions here belong to Starmora's reading method. A note combining your question, card and actual experience can make the symbol more concrete.
