Numerology method and limits

Learn how life path, name, personal-year and personal-day sums are calculated. Explore master numbers, Turkish-letter transliteration and differences between methods through clear examples.

Digit sums and reduction

Starmora sums every digit of the birth date for its life path calculation and reduces the result while preserving master numbers 11, 22 and 33. For example, a sum of 29 remains 11 after 2+9. Some schools reduce day, month and year separately first; different treatment of intermediate master numbers can change results. The tool states its chosen method explicitly.

Letters in a name

In the Pythagorean table values begin with A=1 and repeat through a 1–9 cycle. Turkish Ç, Ğ, İ, I, Ö, Ş and Ü are treated as C, G, I, I, O, S and U. Spaces and punctuation are omitted. This convention is not a linguistic or personality measurement; another alphabet or numerology school can calculate the same name differently.

Personal periods

A personal year sums the digits of the birth day and month with those of a chosen year. Personal months add the calendar month to the year number; personal days add the calendar day to the month number using the stated convention. These numbers do not calculate event dates or chances of success. Use a symbolic theme as a reflection question in daily planning.

Method and approach

This guide is Starmora's original declaration of the method used by its numerology tools. Digit sums, preserving 11/22/33, the A–Z table, Turkish-letter conversion and calendar periods correspond to the arithmetic displayed in the tools. Starmora wrote the reflection prompts associated with the numbers.
