Calculation and interpretation method

The original deck contains 22 major and 56 minor arcana. You select cards from a shuffled deck without repeating a card within one spread. Orientation is random when reversed cards are enabled; otherwise cards are read upright. Selection serves a symbolic reflection exercise.

Turn possibility into a need that can be discussed

Consider one area you would like to develop in a bond: clearer conversation, time together or a known boundary. Read the card's theme alongside that area. Write a small proposal you can genuinely accept and leave room for another person's response. Instead of treating potential as an already certain relationship, observe which shared behaviour actually emerges.

This one-card position does not calculate someone's hidden thoughts. A one-sided interest need not be made reciprocal through a symbol. Understand whether the proposal is accepted from the actual answer, then reconsider your own need accordingly.

The card, orientation and spread position

A card's theme, its spread position and its upright or reversed reading contribute together. Explore inward attention or a difficulty with the theme rather than treating reversal as simply a negative outcome. Cards do not repeat within one spread; a new spread makes another random selection. The Met source explains history and structure, while the original questions here belong to Starmora's reading method. A note combining your question, card and actual experience can make the symbol more concrete.
