How to use this reading
The traditional section is an original summary of A. E. Waite's book for the Rider–Waite–Smith deck. Tarot schools and decks differ; no single universal meaning is claimed here. The upright and reversed readings, example and combination that follow are contemporary Starmora reflection prompts, not a literal translation or knowledge of a future event. Starmora's artwork is also original and need not reproduce every detail of the historical illustrations.
The card's place and themes
Swords · rank 11. Themes: inquiry, alert observation, questioning. First identify the question and position through which you are reading this card.
Traditional symbolism: Rider–Waite–Smith
An alert figure holding a sword surveys a windswept landscape. Waite describes vigilance and examination; the boundary between attention and suspicious monitoring matters.
Upright reading: a Starmora reflection
You may feel curious about a question, a detail or a new claim. Direct keen observation towards evidence rather than towards monitoring people.
Reversed reading: a Starmora reflection
Drawing conclusions from incomplete information or constant checking may strain communication. Verify a report, ask directly and avoid presenting uncertainty as an accusation.

Reading with Page of Pentacles
With the Page of Pentacles, inquiry becomes a practical trial. Which small exercise could turn the idea you read into actual learning?
This pairing promises no event or relationship outcome. Its reflection can change with the cards' order and the spread's question; consider it alongside actual conditions and your own judgement.
